💡Leads are active sales opportunities — a specific job you're working to win. They move through stages (New → Quoted → Negotiating → Scheduled or Lost). Everyone here is also a Contact; a contact only becomes a lead when you're actively chasing a job for them.
💡Contacts are everyone in your address book — customers, past customers, and prospects. A contact becomes a Lead when you start actively pursuing a specific job with them; that lead lives in your pipeline and can be Scheduled or Lost. Deleting either is separate.

Start a quote
Three ways in — they all end up in the same place, so pick whatever suits the job.
1Describe it fastest
Type the job the way you'd say it. You get a priced material list in seconds.
2Draw it in 3D most accurate
Sketch the shape in BuiltView and it counts the materials off the drawing. Best for anything not a plain rectangle.
3Enter it by hand full control
Type your own line items and prices. Use this when you already know the numbers.
Any quote can move between these. Open one and you can refine it in BuiltView 3D, or edit its lines by hand.
BuiltView 3D
Draw the job, then Save to customer — it becomes a quote automatically.
